The Denton Black Film Festival (DBFF) is a 3-day festival of engaging and entertaining films and events. The Festival offers programming for the family inspired by the African-American experience. DBFF seeks to offer the works of local, national and international filmmakers, that often are not seen by a broad audience and may not be recognized through major theatrical release.
The Denton Black Film Festival will showcase films that entertain, educate, inspire, and communicate Black American cultural themes to the broader community as expressed through movies and art that reflect cultural mindset and changes through several generations of film-making.
